Step Outside of the Traditional Learning Environment Into a Tangible Learning Experience!

Our Individual Education Plan is an animal-assisted program to help children with a wide variety of disabilities. This interactive experience works with horses as an effective way of providing physical and emotional therapy as well as psychological benefits to patients suffering from autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, visual and hearing impairment, anxiety disorder, learning disorder, development disorder, muscular dystrophy, brain injury as well as behavioral problems.

This program is individually and creatively designed to cultivate growth and development in all aspects of life. The activities are developed to engage multiple senses simultaneously creating a tangible learning environment, and are adaptable to help individuals learn without limitations from mental and physical capabilities. At Unbridled Strides, we facilitate social adjustment in a practical learning atmosphere by promoting self discovery, self awareness, and increased appropriate behavioral changes.

Traditional therapy focuses on the past. Horses live in the here and now, are non-judgmental, and they reflect on how you live in the world in the moment. This allows for the child to learn at his/her own pace and learning style, as the horses only push you to places they know you are capable of being at!
